The Boise Gems began with a small group of educators, alumni, and community supporters who believed Idaho deserved a competitive, community-rooted drum corps experience. Since those early rehearsals, the corps has grown into a summer home for performers across the Northwest—performing field shows, parades, and community exhibitions.
We focus on strong fundamentals, a supportive culture, and shows that audiences love. Whether it’s brass power chords under stadium lights or drumline beats echoing downtown, the Gems bring a uniquely Idaho voice to the marching arts.
