Boise Gems is set to take the field in 2026 with The Color of Chaos, a program built around one bold idea: red is never just one thing.
Red can be comforting or confrontational. It can be romantic, dangerous, sacred, or loud. It can mean “come closer” and “stay back” in the same breath. Gems’ 2026 production explores that contradictions: how a single color can carry so many meanings depending on context.
