Idaho's state motto, adopted soon after the addition to the Union, is a way of wishing good luck to the state. It shall be perpetual marks the bold claim that Idaho may live on. A very fitting statement for the Boise Gems Drum & Bugle Corps's first ever show. This show is a message to the world saying that the Boise Gems will be perpetual and live on with several future seasons. The music was written to inspire ideas of greatness, evoking a sense of power and establishment in the world.

Performances

The first season of the Boise Gems Drum and Bugle Corps was a success. Esto Perpetua was engraved into DCI history, and the corps had their first show season. This was the start of something big.
