Austin Moldenhauer serves as the CEO/Executive Director of Boise Gems Performing Arts, supporting the overall coordination, logistics, and day-to-day operations of both the Gems Drum & Bugle Corps and Boise Gems Independent. His work focuses on keeping programs organized, ensuring clear communication, and helping staff and members have what they need to be successful throughout the season. Austin is currently studying music education, which informs his approach to planning, culture-building, and supporting young performers. He works closely with instructional and administrative teams to manage schedules, student engagement, budgets, and ongoing program development. Before founding BGPA, Austin spent several years teaching and participating in the marching arts, which shaped his interest in building local opportunities for students. His goal is simple: create a positive, structured environment where students can learn, grow, and enjoy performing.
